MI's Welcome Event & BBQ
Fellowship, Residency
Last month, MI hosted our Welcome Event & BBQ for new and existing faculty, residents, and fellows. Opening remarks were given by Dr. Linda Probyn, Associate Professor, Vice Chair Education, and Director, Accreditation, PGME, and Dr. Michael Patlas, Professor and Department Chair. Diagnostic Radiology Chief Resident Adam Min and Deputy Chief Resident Sandra Fiset also addressed and welcomed the department's new learners.
Attendees enjoyed a catered dinner and refreshments while networking with and meeting faculty and learners. Thank you to everyone who attended!

Congratulations to Dr. Eli Lechtman (PGY 6 Nuclear Medicine) on being the recipient of the newly established Dr. Kathy Yip Award in Nuclear Medicine. This annual award is granted to one PGY6 resident as an 'entrance' award. The generous donation by Alumna, Dr. Yip is an incentive to encourage more residents to think about pursuing the specialty of Nuclear Medicine.
