Happy New Year, Medical Imaging! To kick off 2025, the Department of Medical Imaging (MI) is revamping its communications, including changes to newsletters and additional spotlight opportunities for faculty and trainees.
MI Newsletters
After reviewing feedback from our communications survey circulated last year, MI will be integrating our MI Monthly newsletter content into our MI Weekly newsletters. This includes awards, publications, academic appointments and promotions and feature articles. This will allow for better opportunities to share timely accomplishments and recognition of faculty and trainees on an ongoing basis.
The MI Weekly newsletter will still include upcoming events, deadlines and job postings, all of which will continue to be available on our MI Weekly webpage.
Meeting MI
Along with revamping newsletters, MI is also adding additional opportunities to spotlight MI faculty and trainees with our new Meeting MI profiles. The profiles, which involve filling out a short 5-question form which will be published as is, will give the Department the chance to meet their colleagues and trainees and learn about them in their own words.
The profiles, which will include a headshot or photo, will be shared in MI Weekly and to the Department’s social media channels. We encourage you to participate in filling out a Meeting MI profile and/or sending one to your colleagues, fellows and residents of all years. The forms can be sent to mi.communications@utoronto.ca along with your headshot or photo of yourself and will be included in newsletters/on social media as they are received.
