The 6th Toronto Breast Imaging Conference 2022 was held virtually on April 23, 2022, hosted by Dr. Derek Muradali and Dr. Supriya Kulkarni as conference directors on behalf of the Department of Medical Imaging, University of Toronto. TBIC 2022 was a resounding success receiving great feedback from all attendees. It featured multiple talks on the use of breast MRI in problem-solving breast imaging scenarios, Artificial Intelligence, and newer and upcoming technology such as contrast-enhanced mammography.

Dr. Jessica Leung, a renowned breast radiologist from MD Anderson Cancer Centre was the invited keynote speaker and gave several presentations on nuances of breast imaging workup. The conference also featured a live workstation-based presentation in a workshop style on how to read a breast MRI by Dr. Supriya Kulkarni apart from featuring several faculty members across the various teaching hospitals. TBIC is not only known for its enriched educational content but also a platform used to launch junior faculty into the realm of teaching and education. 

Dr. Supriya Kulkarni is an Associate Professor and Breast Imaging Radiologist at JDMI. She is also the Breast Imaging divisional lead for the department. Dr. Derek Muradali is an Associate Professor at St. Michaels Hospital/ Unity Health
