Dr. Reza Vali has been appointed Program Director-Elect for the Nuclear Medicine Residency Program commencing July 1, 2022, and becoming Program Director on January 1, 2023.
Reza has been a valued member of Nuclear Medicine RPC since 2015 and was recognized for his teaching, receiving the “Excellence in Teaching” award for the Nuclear Medicine Residency program in 2020.
The department would like to thank Dr. Amer Shammas for the great contributions he has made to the program and department during the last 7 years he has served as Program Director. Dr. Shammas will remain Program Director until December 31, 2022.
