Last week, the Department of Medical Imaging celebrated this year’s graduating class of our Diagnostic Radiology (DR) Residency, and we couldn’t be prouder of these 14 new radiologists!
This year’s new grads were celebrated with a graduation and awards ceremony held at U of T’s Hart House on June 3, which included a group photo of all the grads, opening remarks from MI Chair Dr. Michael Patlas and a seated dinner, during which the evening’s keynote presentation was delivered by Adjunct Lecturer Dr. Ivan Diamond.
During opening remarks, Dr. Patlas presented this year’s Research Day Award to Dr. Dominic Marrocco. After dinner, DR Residency Program Director Dr. Charles Yan presented 11 award categories to a total of 16 graduates and PGY 1-4s. The awards included:
After dessert, Dr. Yan recognized the 2025 graduating residents by calling them to the stage and presenting them with their certificates before Senior Executive Vice Chair Dr. Linda Probyn delivered closing remarks to end the evening.
