My research focus is on the use of ultrasound in pediatric radiology with a focus on education both within radiology and in emergency medicine. My subspecialty interest is in neonatal imaging and how we can utilize simple bedside imaging tools such as radiographs and ultrasound to improve clinical practice. These simple concepts can be transferred to many other centers around Canada and elsewhere in the world, particularly where resources are more limited, to improve access and reduce barriers to quality imaging and healthcare.
