Research Interests: Cardio-Oncology, Cardiovascular Imaging (MRI/CT), New Imaging Biomarkers, Various Cardiomyopathies
My primary research focus is on cardiac imaging with advanced cardiovascular MRI. I am interested in the diagnosis, prediction, and outcomes of various non-ischemic cardiomyopathies. Within this context, the evaluation of qualitative and quantitative new imaging biomarkers plays an essential role for diagnostic precision and accuracy. Another important aspect of my research is the determination of their clinical usefulness. In the past, I successfully received research funding to work on multiple projects in the evolving field of Cardio-Oncology. I am currently involved in various scientific projects and collaborate with several investigators at the University of Toronto.
