Emergency Radiology Fellowships Offered
Emergency Radiology is a sub-specialty of radiology encompassing emergency, trauma, and acute care imaging dedicated to swiftly and accurately diagnosing conditions in acutely ill and injured patients, irrespective of body part(s) involved.
The Emergency Radiology Division at the University of Toronto has teaching, research, and clinical affiliations with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, St. Michael's Hospital, The Hospital for Sick Children, and the affiliated community hospitals. Between the sites, there are 15 active faculty who are board-certified, fellowship-trained physicians.
Teaching activities occur at the medical student, resident, clinical fellowship, and radiologist peer levels with at least 7 fellowship positions available per year across the Division. The Division actively organises bi-annual Emergency Radiology Division City-wide rounds which are also open to trainees and faculty in other divisions. The Division also promotes and is involved in CETARS National Fellow Case Rounds in Emergency, Trauma, and Acute Care Radiology.
