Dress code for this event is formal.
After the success of last year’s inaugural fundraising and networking dinner, the Department of Medical Imaging is excited to announce that, back by popular demand, we are hosting our second annual AI in MI Networking Night in May 2026!
Join fellow U of T Medical Imaging community, faculty and alumni and industry leaders in the heart of downtown Toronto at Atrium at Ricarda’s to celebrate MI’s achievements in advancing artificial intelligence research and implantation and network with colleagues and industry peers.
Guests will be welcomed to the Atrium with cocktails and canapés before opening remarks and speeches from U of T faculty and leaders, including Dr. Lisa Robinson, Dean, Temerty Faculty of Medicine and Dr. Birgit Ertl-Wagner, who will deliver a keynote speech on artificial intelligence in medical imaging. Dr. Ertl-Wagner is the Radiologist-in-Chief at The Hospital for Sick Children and Derek Harwood-Nash Chair in Medical Imaging.
The evening will also feature a live 4-piece jazz band that will play throughout the night, as well as an interactive photobooth!
Any proceeds from the event as well as donations made to MI’s AI fund during the evening will help support U of T’s Department of Medical Imaging in our work advancing the application of AI and other cutting-edge technologies in medical education and patient care.

Tickets are $500 + tax. Invitees can purchase tickets for a guest or a partial/full table. Please note, limited tickets are available, and each table seats ten guests. If you or your organization wish to purchase a partial or full table, please contact David Tihanyi at david.tihanyi@utoronto.ca.

Cancellation Policy
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred if you are unable to attend. Attendees must notify the event organizer of their intention to transfer their registration via email (david.tihanyi@utoronto.ca). Transfers must be requested by May 5, 2025.
