Dr. Chavhan's main research focus is on paediatric body MRI with efforts to apply newer MRI techniques in pediatric body imaging. His clinical and research interests include hepatobiliary imaging, gynaecologic imaging, lymphatic imaging in children. He is actively involved in the educational outreach program and has lectured on many paediatric imaging topics.
