Research Interests: Abdominal Radiology, Artificial Intelligence, Radiomics

My research interest is the application of artificial intelligence to abdominal radiology to improve the diagnosis and treatment response assessment of disease. Current projects include applying radiomics to neuroendocrine tumours to determine noninvasively the tumour grade to help guide management; and applying radiomics to colorectal cancer liver metastases to predict whether a patient will benefit from transarterial chemoembolization treatment. I am also collaborating with other researchers on projects such as stereotactic radiation treatment of pancreatic cancer through MRI guidance and assessing the effectiveness of new transarterial embolization treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma.
