My research interests include advanced pediatric neurovascular imaging, endovascular treatment of complex brain and spine vascular conditions, including pediatric stroke, adaptive learning and education, as well as patient safety and quality improvement. I am especially focused on precision medicine for treatment of pediatric intracranial vascular malformations (endovascular endothelial biopsy for genotyping). I am actively involved in neuroendovascular simulation and integration with innovative imaging technologies using anatomically and physiologically-realistic pediatric neurovascular models allowing pre-operative treatment planning and endovascular training. This ultimately contributes to the improvement of training programs and the enhancement of patient care in the neurointerventional setting.

I am focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion; specifically in Neurointervention. I strongly believe that diversity stimulates creativity, innovation, respect, and inclusiveness. I am convinced that being considerate, honest, and tactful, valuing others' opinions, and understanding the importance of both social and task-related relationships is crucial for a good working environment.
