Welcome to the Medical Imaging, Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program
Dr. Eric Bartlett - Program Director
Welcome to the University of Toronto's Diagnostic Radiology Program! As radiologists, we are an integral part of the larger health care delivery team. As a radiology resident, you will have an opportunity to experience a wide variety of practice models within our affiliated teaching sites, ranging from community hospitals to dedicated world-class cancer, cardiac, transplant, neuroscience, trauma and pediatric centres.
During your time with us, you will learn from world-renowned radiologists, educators and researchers and will participate in innovative teaching and research. Throughout your rotations, you will see and learn about a wide variety of medical pathologies, unique to our large program. During your research experience, you will have an opportunity to learn how to become a medical imaging investigator and to test your hypotheses.
In order to keep pace with the ever-changing role technology plays in our specialty, it is crucial we use all the educational tools available. We have developed a new and separate website for the diagnostic radiology residency program - www.radlink.ca - where you'll find rotation handover documents, extensive video libraries and reading lists, an online WebPACS, smart-phone friendly program calendars and other helpful tools.
This is an exciting time to be a radiologist and an exciting time to be at the University of Toronto! I am looking forward to working with you.
