Symposium on Hyper Acute Stroke Workshop

1st Annual Hyperacute Stroke Symposium & Workshop Program (PDF)

Dear friends and colleagues:

I would like to invite you all to attend the Symposium on Hyperacute Stroke: Diagnosis and Management that will take place in Montreal on May 12th and 13th, 2017.

The event will include a series of morning lectures and case-based discussions to review the bases of clinical and imaging diagnosis of hyper acute stroke, including CT, CTA and CTP interpretations. The indications and various techniques of Thrombectomy will be also illustrated. The ongoing and upcoming clinical trials for acute stroke treatment will also be reviewed, providing the audience with the most recent directions on stroke treatment.

In the afternoon we will hold four workshops (Imaging, Thrombectomy with flow models, Neurology on acute stroke and Neuro ICU post stroke care) that will provide the audience with a deep understanding of the management of hyper acute stroke.

We want this event to be a special occasion to present and discuss complex cases and we invite you to bring yours (2 power point slides max.). You will have the opportunity to present and discuss your case during lunch time and benefit from the advice of the panel of our guest speakers. The aim of this event is to highlight complicated stroke cases and share decisions on cases management.

Montreal is in bloom in the month of May. The city is a great destination for a fabulous weekend with many attractions, exhibitions, shopping and excellent restaurants.

The number of attendees for this event is limited therefore we recommend that you save the date and indicate your participation as soon as possible.

I promise you this will be a very instructive event on a topic which is paramount in our daily practice.

I hope to see you in Montreal
