Camilo Barragan Leal

My research focuses on translational interventional radiology by enhancing the efficacy and safety of ultrasound-guided procedures. Through a multidisciplinary approach, I explore novel techniques and technologies to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and patient outcomes of vascular and non-vascular procedures. By utilizing advancements in imaging modalities, instrumentation, and procedural guidance, I address challenges related to target localization, real-time monitoring, and complication mitigation. Ultimately, my research endeavors to translate these innovations into clinical practice, for safer, more effective, and patient-centered interventional radiology procedures.
