Welcome to MI, Residents & Fellows!

Our new cohort of residents and fellows joined MI this month, and faculty & staff welcomed them into the Department with our annual Welcome Event at Hart House!

The evening started with opening remarks from Senior Executive Vice Chair Dr. Linda Probyn, which was followed by a buffet dinner. As guests enjoyed their dinner, Dr. Shaheen Darani, Associate Professor & Director, Faculty Development and Mentorship, delivered a presentation outlining OLA (Office of Learners Affairs) resources for residents and fellows, which was followed by a presentation highlighting the importance of AI in radiology from Dr. Alexander Bilbily, Assistant Professor & Director, Augmented Precision Medicine Lab.

Assistant Professor Dr. Alexandre Boutet rounded out the evenings presentations, taking residents through U of T’s Clinician Investigator’s Program (CIP). Dr Probyn delivered closing remarks before the rest of the night was opened up for networking amongst trainees and faculty.
