Journal Club

About the Journal Club

As part of the residency training program, Journal Club is held annually.  A topic/theme is chosen for each journal club with the goal of covering a wide range of Nuclear Medicine subspecialities and multimodality imaging.  Topics relate to recently published literature and usually focus on emerging techniques, new imaging applications, or a comparison of intermodality diagnostic performance.  The articles are selected for review by Residents with staff guidance, which then in turn are to be critically appraised and presented to the journal club attendees by Nuclear Medicine residents.  Journal club is held at various venues across the city with encouraged attendance from staff, fellows and program administration.  Resident attendance is a mandatory part of the program.  Evaluation and feedback is collected from attendees at the end of the event.
