LQ2 Qualitative Leadership Course in Radiology

Requirements:

•    Participants must be able to commit to attend at least 3 out of the 4 periods of classes (2 mornings and 2 afternoons). As the number of participants is limited to hands-on sessions, a selection process may take place.
•    RESIDENTS: Participation in the course has been approved as part of the curriculum of PGY4s of the Medical Imaging Residency Program.
•    FELLOWS: Please speak with your supervisor or program director to make sure your service has the capacity to attend prior to registering.
•    FACULTY: Please ensure that you have time availability to attend the classes.

In the “evidence-based” era it has become crucial for imagers to develop strategies that use data to move others to desirable actions that add value to imaging. These strategies and projects should contribute to Clinical Practice Improvement (CPi) by providing appropriate analytic and communication tools to implement decision-making processes that can lead to improved workflow in departments of radiology, integration of radiology to other departments of hospitals in personalized patient care and ultimately, to enable more accurate imaging diagnosis for patients.

Applications are now open for the LQ2 Qualitative Part of the Leadership Course in Radiology for the 2022-2023 cohort. This program is envisaged to run IN-PERSON, in rooms 2a & b of the SickKids Research Tower.

The course is mandatory for PGY4s, and recommended for PGY5s, fellows and faculty (optional). All are welcome to attend. For PGY4s registration is required.
